I had The House of Brisket when they were parked in the Mattoon Rural King parking lot. The location was perfect! My favorite store and my favorite kind of food all in one. The food was awesome! I had the brisket Mac with some of their sweet BBQ sauce. The service was quick and friendly, the location was convenient and the graphics on the truck and trailer are to be envied. I would 10/10 recommend eating here if you ever see them parked!

Best pulled pork sandwich I ever ate (even including trips south of the Mason Dixon line). Meaty large portion of pork. The sauce was so thick I had to use a fork to spread it onto the meat. I normally don't like Cole Slaw but it came with it and it was also some of the best cole slaw I've ever eaten. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIGHLY! I would have taken pictures but it was too good to wait and take a picture.

Wow. What excellent food at The House of Brisket/Paris Food Truck. We are only able to get this great food when we come up to Illinois to see family. This was our second time....and definitely did not disappoint. We got the Burnt Ends. So tender. They were excellent, also tried a bite of the ribs and that melted in my mouth. If you haven't tried this truck, take the time, find the truck when it is in your area, follow them on Facebook where the post their weekly schedule. You won't be disappointed. They always greet you with a smile. Very friendly service.

This was our second visit to The House of Brisket/Paris. We would be following the truck several times a week but we have to drive from Houston, TX to be able to get this excellent food. We had decided before we ever left Houston that we were going to have to get the Burnt Ends on this trip. They did not disappoint at all. So tender, so tasty. Wish we could have this truck in Texas so they could show the Texans how to really fix Barbecue. If you havent tried them...you really need to make the trip. You won't be disappointed.
